[Experiment] Phone in a drawer

Choose one day a week to leave your phone in a different room or a drawer.
I chose Sundays.
I started doing this because I developed an unhealthy relationship to opening my phone every 15-20 minutes. It got ridiculous. I would cycle through the same apps only to see the same (obviously) content that didn't change in the past 5 seconds. I was desperately seeking stimulation and entertainment.
It's healthy to allow yourself to be bored. To allow your visual field some rest. Human brains do not need a 24/7 stream of pretty pictures and attention-grabbing headlines.
Give it a shot, I bet that you'll end up a little happier. :)
Later, expand this habit to "every day from 6-8pm" or "everyday after 8pm" or whatever makes sense for your life and schedule.
